Benjy Spiro

HR Expert | People Strategy Advisor

Benjy Spiro is Aaron Wolff Consulting’s HR expert and go-to person for Human Capital and People Strategy. He brings a rare mix of recruiting, HR business partnership, early-career talent, employee relations, manager coaching, retention strategy, and hands-on people operations experience.

Benjy has built and supported people programs inside some of the most complex organizations in the country, including Walmart, Accenture, Disney, AECOM, and major financial services firms. He has led recruiting and HR work at real scale, from national campus recruiting strategies to large internship programs, manager coaching, employee relations issues, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee engagement. His strength is helping companies take people challenges that feel messy, reactive, or overwhelming and turn them into practical systems that actually work.

At Aaron Wolff Consulting, Benjy partners with leaders who want their people function to be more than paperwork, policies, and putting out fires. He helps organizations build stronger hiring processes, improve the employee experience, coach managers, reduce attrition, strengthen onboarding, create performance frameworks, and design HR practices that support both the business and the people doing the work.

What makes Benjy different is that he has seen HR from multiple angles. He understands the urgency of recruiting, the sensitivity of employee relations, the pressure managers feel when leading teams, and the importance of making employees feel seen, supported, and set up to succeed. He is strategic, but not theoretical. He is practical, direct, and deeply people-focused.

Benjy is especially passionate about helping organizations move from reactive HR to intentional people strategy. That means building cultures where managers communicate better, employees understand how to grow, new hires are onboarded with care, performance conversations are clearer, and leaders have the tools to keep great people engaged.

Known for his energy, creativity, humor, and natural ability to connect with people, Benjy brings both heart and structure to the work. He believes great HR is not just about filling roles, writing policies, or checking boxes. It is about helping leaders lead better, helping employees thrive, and building workplaces where people want to stay, grow, and do their best work.

Aaron Wolff

Founder & Principal

Aaron Wolff is the strategy, operations, and transformation leader behind Aaron Wolff Consulting. He brings more than 15 years of experience helping organizations build better systems, stronger teams, and more practical ways to execute. His work sits at the intersection of operations, supply chain, digital transformation, leadership, and growth, with experience across startups, management consulting, higher education, and the U.S. Government.

Aaron has led work in environments where ideas are not enough. The strategy has to become an operating plan. The operating plan has to become a process. And the process has to work for real people, real teams, and real business pressures. He has helped launch products, scale operations, lead technical initiatives, coach executives, and guide organizations through the messy middle where strategy, technology, people, and execution all meet.

His background includes serving as the first employee at a tech startup, where he helped shape the strategy, scale operations, and launch the product. At the U.S. Department of Transportation, Aaron served as senior advisor and acting COO for the Research, Development and Technology organization, supporting an operation of more than 1,000 employees. At Deloitte, he managed supply chain and digital transformation initiatives, creating custom deployments grounded in Lean Six Sigma and design thinking. He also teaches graduate-level courses in Global Supply Chain Management and Project Management at Georgetown University.

At Aaron Wolff Consulting, Aaron helps organizations move from scattered effort to clearer execution. He partners with leaders to improve operations, strengthen project and program management, build scalable systems, modernize workflows, coach teams, and turn complex business challenges into practical next steps. His work is especially valuable for organizations that are growing quickly, changing direction, launching something new, or trying to bring more discipline and clarity to how work gets done.

What makes Aaron different is that he can move comfortably between the boardroom, the classroom, the startup floor, and the operational trenches. He understands strategy, but he is not interested in theory for theory’s sake. He cares about what works, what scales, what leaders can actually implement, and what helps teams perform better without making the organization more complicated than it needs to be.

Aaron is also a teacher, coach, and builder. He has led executive coaching, leadership trainings, and company-wide workshops for organizations ranging from small teams to groups of more than 500 people. He brings the analytical discipline of a mechanical engineer, the strategic lens of a Duke MBA, and the practical judgment of someone who has worked across government, consulting, startups, and global operations.

Aaron’s spark is his ability to make complex work feel clearer, calmer, and more actionable. He helps leaders cut through noise, understand what matters, and build the systems, teams, and operating rhythms needed to move forward. Whether he is advising a founder, coaching an executive, improving a supply chain process, modernizing operations, or teaching the next generation of leaders, Aaron brings structure, curiosity, and a deep commitment to helping people and organizations execute better.
